Visible is a cell phone provider that lets customers use Verizon's network for as little as $30 per month. If you have an eligible iPhone, you can even try Visible for free for 15 days.
I'll look closely at Visible's Plans and prices in this article. I'll also tell you how to start using Visible's service and what to expect.
As of the most recent update in August of 2022, Visible offers not one but two cellular data packages with no caps.
Unlimited talk, text, and mobile hotspots are included in the $30 monthly base plan from Visible. Included in the price are all applicable taxes and fees. The total cost of Visible's premium plan, Visible+, is $45 per month after accounting for applicable taxes and fees.
The base plan from Visible offers both 5G National and 4G LTE data, with a speed cap of 200 Mbps on the 5G network. The premium plan from Visible grants you access to Verizon's fastest download speeds across the country with 5G Ultra Wideband and 50GB of premium data whenever you are connected to 5G Nationwide and 4G LTE networks (5G Ultra Wideband is always premium data).
Visible and Visible+ Unlimited Plans
Verizon owns Visible, and it is compatible with Verizon's 5G and 4G LTE networks. Visible is a good choice if you live in an area with good Verizon coverage.

As 5G network availability grows, Visible updates, its coverage map to reflect the changes. Now you can compare the bare bones Visible plan with the premium Visible+ plan to see exactly what each one covers. Check network availability at your address by entering it here.
There is a significant geographic variance in the call and text performance of Visible.
Very few calls or texts have been lost or dropped during the years I've used Visible. It's been very dependable overall. At the beginning of my time with Visible, I did get a few spam SMS messages. Yet, there is no longer any need to worry about that.
To cut down on spam calls, Visible has included free Scam Protection. To turn on Scam Protection, go to the Visible App's Settings and tap Account, Privacy, and Security. Wi-Fi Calling is supported by Visible at no extra cost if you are in an area with spotty or no cellular service. Enable this function in your phone's settings.
The standard Visible plan includes access to Verizon's 4G LTE/5G network, while the premium Visible+ plan adds 5G Ultra Wideband service. My personal experience with Visible, combined with Verizon's data coverage map, leads me to believe that you will have access to consistent data with Visible.
While Visible's original plan offers unlimited data, you shouldn't expect the same download speeds as you would with other carriers until you reach a "high-speed data cap." Instead, you can rely on Verizon's 4G/LTE network for consistent download speeds of 5-12 Mbps throughout the month. Even so, this speed is adequate for casual Internet use.
Video typically streams at 480p, or standard definition, according to Visible. But even with the most basic plan, I've had no trouble watching YouTube videos in 720p (high definition).
When connected to 5G Ultra Wideband, some users on the Visible+ plan can stream video in 4K resolution.
Remember that when you're using Wi-Fi instead of cellular data, your streaming quality will automatically increase to HD.
What do you make of this? Start up YouTube on your mobile device and play a few videos at different resolutions to see if you can tell the difference. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Visible if your 480p experience hasn't been too terrible.
