We've been taught our whole lives that the journey itself is the reward, but whoever believes that has never visited one of the Anantara Resorts located all over the globe.
Every Anantara Hotel exudes the brand's signature style of refined comfort. These aren't just rooms in a hotel that you hope to get for a reasonable price; they're adventures that are well worth flying halfway across the world to have. That's what their 143,008 Instagram followers seem to think, at least.
Read this Anantara review to see if the resort's amenities and services are appealing before deciding whether or not to book a trip to Thailand to see for yourself if they're right.
Anantara's resorts are for people with a lot of money, as they can get quite pricey. I haven't put the prices here because it's hard to put prices on travel.
The Anantara Veli is ideal for couples seeking seclusion, intimacy, and spiritual renewal. It's a place just for grownups, but there are many ways to relax there:
• Yoga classes every day
• Daily Break-Fast
• Honeymoon perks
The resort's location affords guests direct access to the water. Choose between a beachfront pool villa or an over-the-water villa (the latter of which has long been my preference).
The Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel is located in the heart of Rome and is a gateway to some of the fascinating artifacts in human history. The fascinating sights of one of the world's most coveted cities are within walking distance.
Simply put, the hotel is a work of art. It was built in the 19th century using marble, giving residents the impression that they were resurrecting a piece of history.
Next in my review of Anantara hotels is one set in the middle of a private island within a biosphere reserve protected by UNESCO. That's why the Anantara Kihavah Maldives has a beach with sand as white as diamonds and water as blue as Joni Mitchell's Blue.
Even if the hotel's dazzling setting isn't enough to sway your decision, the Anantara Kihavah Maldives is home to the only over-water observatory in the Maldives.
Among these few top-tier hotels, the Anantara Dubai is the most apt. After all, it boasts its private half-kilometer coastline, temperature-controlled swimming lagoons, the Palm Jumeriah spa, and over-the-water villas (the only such accommodations in the United Arab Emirates).
Let me put it this way: the places and resorts Anantara offers to make me wish I had taken my dad's advice and gone to college to study computer science so I could afford these places. Please don't make the same mistake I did. If you have the money, go (to Anantara).
Discounts to various Anantara destinations can be found on their website. The following locations are currently being considered for these offers:
1. Maldives
2. Thailand
3. United Arab Emirates
4. Qatar
5. Oman
6. Vietnam
